Brand photographer in Kent with Pastiche Bags
I met Angela, founder and creator of Pastiche Bags. Angela contacted me needing product photos and portraits which we shot at Broadstairs Location House. Her story and the why behind her brand instantly spoke to me.
Angela was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer in 2020 and during that time, her friend bought her a bag to use at her hospital appointments which then became a symbol for the love and support Angela had around her during those tough times. You can read more about Angela’s story here.
With this in mind, Angela decided to use her twenty years experience in sourcing and developing value-driven fashion, accessories and homeware products to create Pastiche Bags, ergonomically designed bags for cancer patients. Practically designed for those undergoing or recovering from chemotherapy, each bag has:
Magnetic clasps to help wrists sore from cannulas.
Wider straps so they don’t dig in.
Lightweight materials so the bag is lighter.
Specially designed pockets making it easy to get items in and out of the bag.
A personalised message slipped into a transparent pocket as a reminder of the love and support.
For each bag purchased, £10 is donated to Cancer Research UK. I am honoured to be a part of telling Angela’s brand story.
