Why I Started Mini Sessions

#1: I’m not a fan of having my photo taken. Yep, me - your photographer. And you know what? 90% of my clients feel the same way.

If getting in front of a camera feels daunting, why jump straight into a full package straight away when you don’t have to? Mini Sessions are short, sweet and designed to ease you in before booking a full shoot.

#2: When I first started my business in 2020, investing in a full shoot wasn’t in my budget so I had to make do with DIY photos (shoutout to my husband, who is not a photographer).

I know what it’s like to be starting out, which is why Mini Sessions will always be my most accessible offering.

So whether this is your first shoot or you’ve had photos done before and just want a refresh - you're in the right place!

How do Mini Sessions work?

Mini Sessions are on selected dates in selected areas.

Usually Addington Street in Ramsgate or Margate Old Town.

Each session is around 20 minutes.

booking

To book your session, select your time slot and fill out the form. You’ll then receive the next steps directly to your inbox!

This will include your contract and invoice that needs to be signed and paid within 24 hours to lock your session in.

Shooting

On the day, we’ll capture fun portraits using the colours and textures of the location as the perfect backdrop.

Nervous about feeling awks? I’ll guide you through everything from posing to making sure your fringe falls right.

You’ll be able to pick your favourite 3 images from a gallery delivered to you within 7 days, with the option to purchase more images if you wish - no pressure!

Mini Sessions are for you if…

✦ You are in need of some new, updated portraits that look and feel more like the current you (and not the selfie from 5+ years ago).

✦ You are in the first year or so of running your small biz.

✦ You are feeling like you can muster the courage to take that first (massive) step into showing up online in the name of your biz!

✦ You need a bit of a confidence boost (trust me, it works!)

✦ You've had photos done before but just need a few updated photos for LinkedIn, etc.

✦ You want to hang out with me for a bit (I'm kinda cool, maybe?)

FAQS

  • Each session is £75.

    You will be able to select 3 images or you can upgrade to the full gallery of 15 images for an additional £75.

  • A fun and relaxed shoot that will leave you feeling confident to show up online!

    Each shoot is 20 minutes, you’ll receive a gallery of 15 images where you can select you favourite 3 to download.

  • Of course!

    If you can’t choose your favourite 3, you can upgrade to the full gallery for an additional £75.

    You can select a Gallery Upgrade when you receive your Next Steps email.

  • Select your date and time on the scheduler and fill out the form so I have your details.

    You’ll then receive an email with the next steps!

  • Anything you feel comfortable in and that represents how you want your brand to be seen.

    A top tip: bring a jacket of some sort to create a different outfit in less than a couple of seconds! MAGIC!

  • Let’s manifest the sun!

    But if it does rain (or we have some of that wild wind!) will have to reschedule sadly but don’t worry, I can be super flexible and work around you!

  • I will send an info email out on the Friday before our Mini Session with details on our meeting place and travel info.

Ready for your Mini Session?

Just a little note about your data: Once you get in touch with me, I will respond as soon as I can and then follow up once. If I don't hear from you, your details will be removed from my system and you will not be contacted again. Your data is never given to third parties. If you book with me, your data will be stored in my system with Dubsado for future reference along with documents (contracts, invoices) from our time working together.
